To my mind this whole saga has been beyond belief. Our grievance with LCC in particular
has gone on for a long, long time and many promises have being broken. Perhaps I’m
naive but you wouldn’t expect the authorities to act in the way they do, in my opinion,
using misdirection, falsehood and their chief weapon -
All involved have cost me a great deal in terms of health, my time and money, but the most annoying part, particularly in the case of the councils, is just how incredibly UNDEMOCRATIC they really are.
It’s also worth noting that when any interested party gets in touch with either council
with regards to my situation they get the same pat answer -
With regards to planning there are set ‘rules’ in place (the national planning framework) which are supposed to be upheld no matter what, but in my case and in my opinion, the rules and regulations were pretty much flouted at will.
It’s a sham show of democracy and nothing more!
However, I believe that if enough people shine a light on such issues, make a noise and do something about it then things can change.
